Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A Lester Patrick Trophy winner in 1995, Brian Mullen skated for four different clubs during his 11-season NHL career, with just a single year spent in San Jose during the club’s inaugural season. We have a Sharks jersey worn by Mullen during his time with the club, with this example originating from training camp/pre-season. Maska Ultrafil labeling with handwritten “19” and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a vinyl team crest and heat-pressed two-tone sleeve and verso numbers, “Mullen” appears across the nameplate in individual rubberized teal letters. We should also note evidence of a former nameplate, with this jersey void of the NHL 75th anniversary crest – as this was applied only to regular season examples. Dark marks are visible over the front and sleeves, with heavy pilling to the interior near the right elbow. There is also some paint transfer over the reverse neckline. An LOA will accompany.
