HOFer Brett Hull’s greatest years were with the St. Louis Blues, where he scored 527 of his 741 NHL goals. Hull’s 1997-98 Blues game-worn alternate captain’s jersey with team repairs on both sleeves is from his final season in St. Louis, where he won the Hart Trophy in 1990-91 and totaled 409 assists and 936 points in 744 games. Hull’s retired No. “16” is handwritten in blue ballpoint on the size “52-R” tagging in the back of the neck below the Starter tagging with an “L” flag tag on the right end. “B3” is handwritten in blue marker at the bottom of the screened white Bluenote logo to the right of the “2nd Set 1997-98 Season” team stamp inside the rear hem. More game wear shows in solid black marks on the front and board burns and marks on the sleeves. Customizations include the cut fight strap and tightened sleeve cuffs. Comes with Brett Hull’s signed LOA.
There is a team repair through the bottom of the stripes on the right sleeve on into the blue knit fabric, which has board burns and unrepaired burn holes below it. There is another sewing fix in the red and gold stripes on the back of the left sleeve.
