Combining strong physical play with exceptional scoring abilities to serve as the only player in NHL history with over 600 goals and 2,000 penalty minutes, Brendan Shanahan won a trio of Stanley Cup championships with Detroit, along with gold medals at the World Championships, Canada Cup and Winter Olympics while representing Canada. Closing out his career with a trio of seasons in the bright lights of Manhattan with the New York Rangers, offered here is this stick used by Shanny during the 2007-08 season. A Warrior made twig with "B. Shanahan" graphics over the shaft, the stick retains its original black tape job around both the handle/knob and blade. Having had a now dried out gripping agent applied over the shaft, the stick shows game-use via some marks and abrasions throughout the length of the shaft as well as over both sides of the blade tape. Additionally, the bottom edge of the blade tape shows some rips/tears and the bottom of the blade itself also shows some wear as well which is worth noting for accuracy. Attributed to having been used during New York's November 5th, 2006 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs based on the penned silver marker ink notation reading "TOR 12/06" over the butt end, the stick comes accompanied by a Madison Square Garden Collectables COA.
