Artist Ken Danby perfectly captures Bobby Orr’s stately grace in retirement in this beautiful artist proof print. As Number 4 poses seated at center ice in Boston Garden, the background relives his greatest moment – Orr flying headfirst through the air after scoring The Goal, the Stanley Cup winner against the St. Louis Blues on May 10, 1970. Exquisitely framed to display approximately 23” x 28” within an elegant matte with gold and black trim, this piece is numbered “AP 230/444” and bears beautiful pencil signatures from both Orr and the artist, with the “Mill Studios Corporation” seal embossed over Danby’s pencil signature within the bottom right. A wonderful addition to any Bobby Orr/Boston Bruins collection, it comes with a receipt from its purchase.
