Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2021

Crowned MVP of the NHL All-Star Game for consecutive seasons in 1970 and 1971 - the only player in history to receive the honour, Bobby Hull would join the upstart WHA in 1972 and lead the Winnipeg Jets to a record three Avco Cup championships. We offer a signed stick issued to the legend during his time with the Jets in the early-to-mid-1970s. This specific type of model would have been used for his first few seasons with the club, most likely in 1973-74 and 1974-75. A Northland Custom Pro model with mostly intact striping accent in Jets colours, “Howe” is stamped to the upper shaft with “9” handwritten, with a pattern code of “1178” also stamped to the underside. Unused and never taped, the stick does exhibit some age and storage wear, with Hull adding a ballpoint signature and personalization to the upper shaft.
