The fastest hat trick in NHL history was scored in 21 seconds by Bill Mosienko, who signed just below his original tape knob on his game-used Northland stick team-signed by the 1947-48 Chicago Black Hawks. Mosienko (HOF 1965, d. 1994), who had his milestone against the Rangers in 1952, and Black Hawks great Doug Bentley (HOF 1964, d. 1972) have signed as well as fellow HOFers Bill Gadsby and Emile Francis among a dozen nice autographs. Moving down the shaft, Goldham signed after Mosienko to the right of the small Northland, St. Paul, Minn. U.S.A. stamp at the top of the shaft, followed by Mariucci, Gadsby, Nattrass, Francis, and by an unidentified signature, then Bentley, Gee, Hamill, Bodnar, Stewart and Dickens. "Mosienko" is stamped on the front of the shaft which features a dedication in what appears to be the Pony Line star's handwriting along with "Best Wishes from 1947-48 Chicago Blackhawks". This vintage gamer exhibits nice game wear/marks and has been preserved in superb, crack-free condition with a beautiful example of Mosienko's tape job on the blade.
