The man arguably most responsible for shaping the modern industrialized world, Thomas Edison had an astounding 1093 US patents registered in his name, the "The Wizard of Menlo Park” was also responsible for helping form General Electric when his Edison General Electric company merged with the Thomson-Houston Electric Company. We have an 8” x 11” five-page typed document signed by Edison, where he appoints his son Charles to act as proxy at an upcoming stockholders’ meeting. Set in a 16 ½” x 20 ½” frame with 8” x 10” photo and name plaque, the booklet has the fifth page displayed, with Edison signing in fountain pen, with the “Chas Edison” and “9th” all in his hand. With no issues for the booklet aside from a pair of fold lines and light toning, an LOA from PSA/DNA will accompany, along with a pair of additional documents.
