Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2013

Awesome Wayne Gretzky NHL All-Star Game Easton game-used stick is from the 1991 mid-season classic in Chicago. Wayne scored his 11th All-Star Game goal in the Campbells' 11-5 win at the old Madhouse on Madison as Vincent Damphousse scored four times to claim MVP honours. Originally obtained by former Black Hawks trainer Randy Lacey, this silvery two-piece gamer with "Gretzky" factory printed on the Easton Aluminum HXP 5100 shaft retains the Great One's original Jack the Gripper foam knob. "All Star" is written in black marker on the butt end. "Gretzky" is stamped on the Easton wood blade insert which displays Wayne's baby-powdered black tape job. A nice bit of wear on the bottom edge of the blade with more game use showing in black marks and red goalpost paint transfer above the heel of the wood blade insert. Comes with Randy Lacey's signed LOA.
