Wayne Cashman played his entire NHL career with the Boston Bruins (1964-65, 1982-83) as the hard-grinding left winger on the era's most formidable forward line with superstar centre Phil Esposito and right winger Ken Hodge, and was on Stanley Cup winning teams in 1970 and 1972. His best season was in 1974, when he scored 30 goals and 59 assists to finish 4th in the league in points and was named to the NHL Second All-Star team. Wayne served as the captain of the Bruins from the 1978 season until 1983. A pair of embroidered Boston Bruins 50th Anniversary patches decorate each shoulder of Wayne Cashman's game-worn Bruins dureen uniform from the 1973-74 season. Tattered Wilson tag in the collar has the remnants of a penned ink "4" to one side, pegging this shirt as a size 44. Twenty-eight typical Bruins bullet-style team repairs can be found scattered over the arms, front and back and the inside displays very nice pilling. The spoked-B rests on the chest in tackle twill and the numbering (pre-name-on-back) is done in gold on white using the same material. A perfect old dureen worn by a Bruins die-hard. Jersey was obtained from a different source and will come with a Classic Auctions LOA. [red] Please note that this item may be subject to a silent reserve.[/red]
