Wayne Cashman's Prince of Wales Trophy honours the big, bad Bruins' record-shattering 1970-71 season. Led by Phil Esposito's 76 goals, Boston smashed the NHL mark by scoring 399 times. Cash's 79 points were good for seventh overall in the league, but only fifth in a Bruins lineup that featured Espo, Orr, Bucyk and Hodge, who finished 1-2-3-4 in league scoring. Only a stunning first-round loss to Montreal prevented what should have been a run of Bruins Stanley Cups. Four silver-plated sticks support a cup with removable lid, with the trophy's and Cashman's names elegantly engraved on one side of the two-inch high wooden base. A plaque on the opposite side reads "NHL Champions - Winners 1970-71 - Boston Bruins." The 12-inch-tall trophy is tarnished and damage includes two breaks in the solder of the braces between the bottom of the shafts of the hockey sticks, and all three laurel leaves broken off and missing from the lid. That said, this miniature Prince of Wales Trophy represents one of the most awe-inspiring NHL seasons ever. Comes with Wayne Cashman's signed LOA.
