The unique silver bucket award in this group of six items from the collection of the late Vladimir Dzurilla is most likely the Best Goalie Award presented to the Czechoslovakian national team goalie at the 1965 world championships in Finland. The silver bucket with "Tampere 1965" engraved on the front has hallmarks stamped on the bottom. Dzurilla's name is engraved on a Czechoslovakian silver cup from the 1964-65 season. A pair of 1981 German League monthly awards and two hockey jerseys are also included. Please see our website description for more information about this lot which comes with an LOA from the Dzurilla family. “Tampere 1965” is engraved along with the Finnish notation for best goalie and world and European championships on the front of silver bucket, which has cleanable tarnish. The bucket stands a shade under 4” tall with a 3 3/8” diameter across the bottom widening to 4 1/4” in diameter around the lip, which has a 3” long stylized handle;
The translation of the engraving on the 7” tall silver cup indicates that it was presented to Dzurilla for being the best goalie for the year 1964-65 while playing for the HC Slovan Bratislava hockey team in the Czech Extraliga league;
Pair of 7 1/2" tall German Bundesliga awards are the player of the month trophies presented to Dzurilla in March and December 1981;
Dzurilla’s surname is spelled out in blue felt letters on the back of his #24 white mesh size XXL German jersey with screened graphics;
Red mesh size XXL Adidas hockey jersey has Dzurilla’s hockey school screened in black on the back.
