This Olympic Winter Games lot of 9 pieces from the late Vladimir Dzurilla's personal collection features the Czechoslovakian national team goalie's participation medals from the 1964, 1968 and 1972 games in Innsbruck, Grenoble and Sapporo, respectively. Also featured are Vladimir's Grenoble 1968 and Sapporo 1972 Olympic competitor's badges, a 1972 Sapporo tie clip, and his three Olympic medalist's participant pins, bronze from 1964, silver from 1968, and bronze from 1972, along with their black vinyl cases with the gold-colored Olympic rings on the button-closure front. Please see our website description for more information about this lot, which comes with an LOA from the Dzurilla family. All three Olympic medalist pins remain attached to the card that indicates the Olympiad, the year of the games, and the type of medal won along with a number at the bottom of the card. The inside of each of the three cases reads “Bertoni, Milano”;
The Grenoble 1968 “Concurrent” pin comes with the bottom of its presentation box, which is missing its lid;
The Sapporo 72 “Competitor” pin has its light blue ribbon and comes in its original white presentation box with the Sapporo 72 logo on the cover;
The Innsbruck 1964 logo is on the cover of the red vinyl case containing Vladimir Dzurilla’s Olympic participation medal, which measures 2 3/8” in diameter;
The Grenoble 1968 participation medal measures 2 5/8” and comes in its round plastic case;
The Sapporo 72 participation medal measures 2 5/16” and comes with its unique blue plastic case;
Tie-clip features a round crest with the Olympic rings and Sapporo 72 on a red background.
