Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Photo-matched Hartford Whalers gamer was worn by goalie Peter Sidorkiewicz during the ill-fated NHL club’s 1990-91 season. The black mark on the bottom left of the green and blue double twill team crest sewn on the front of this white mesh beauty shows on an included vintage 8x10 photo. The green and blue double twill surname letters are sewn directly onto the jersey, which has a CCM flag tag in the neck that has “30” and a pale size “50” handwritten on it. Custom shortened sleeves are cut at the cuffs and more game wear shows in various black marks on the front and sleeves. CCM and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail. Comes with Peter Sidorkiewicz’s signed LOA.
The photo also shows the left top and bottom part of the "3" on the right sleeve at an angle, though it is not a photo-match; neither is the right bottom side of the team logo closer to the top part of the team logo than on the left side.
