Elusive paper memento was handed out to those in attendance on March 24, 1908 at the Elysium in Cleveland for the exhibition match between the Stanley Cup Champions Montreal Wanderers and the All Stars of Cleveland, Ohio. The game, played ten days after the March 14th Stanley Cup win over Toronto, included a line-up for Montreal that featured Hall-of-Famers Riley Hern in goal, Art Ross at the point, rover Moose Johnson and winger Ernie Russell. The 6" x 9.5" fold-over paper program has four pages of info and displays a few small tears and loads of the creasing we have come to expect from these hundred-plus-year-old finds. Very scarce and desirable turn-of-the-century game program recalling some of hockey's greatest early pioneers!
