Noted for the voluminous architectural styles that has shaped the metropolis for almost four centuries, the city of Montreal is home to a number of notable buildings and historical marvels including Notre-Dame Basilica, City Hall, Windsor Station, Saint-Sulpice Seminary, Maison Saint-Gabriel and many others. Produced by P.O.S. Inc of Montreal in conjunction with the 1976 Summer Olympics that took place in the city, we offer a rare serigraph set with this collection of four. At 20” x 25” and each picturing white line drawings over a red base, a number of historic buildings are featured on each, with the artist listed within each drawing. Three are dated “1975”, one “1976”, with “Murale laminee a l’interieur d’un wagon du Metro de Montreal” over the bottom left of each, while the differing title for each resides on the bottom right, including “Sport et Culture” (1975), “Vue generale de Montreal” (1976), “Tourisme et Affaires” (1975) and “Enseignement et Culte” (1975).
