Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2025
Representing his nation with both his dad and brother, Marty Howe saw action in 4 games at the 1974 Summit Series. Originating from his personal collection, we offer his Team Canada helmet and gloves worn at the tournament. First, the helmet is a period CCM model in solid white with puffy CCM logos over each side, CSA/CAHA stickers to the lower reverse, and Marty's "10" handwritten to the interior. Good use is shown including scratches, marks and wear to the interior foam padding which is now dried-out (a piece is also detached). The gloves are also CCM models in red with blue and white accents, with "10" handwritten to the interior and good use shown including wear to the leather, marks and paint transfer. There is a large hole to the palm and tape over the pinky finger of the right glove, and a few small holes to the palm and tape over the second finger on the left glove. A signed LOA from Marty Howe will accompany.
