From his first season in the Big Apple, Mark Messier would register one of his highest career totals in 1991-92 with the New York Rangers, scoring 107 points in 79 regular-season contests while adding an additional 14 points over 11 playoff games. This signed stick was used by the superstar during the first portion of the 1991-92 season, before switching to a Louisville model with blue graphics. A Louisville TPS model with “Messier” stamped, the original black tape is in place over the handle, with some of the tape removed from the blade, with the three striping accents intact. Just very light game-use is exhibited, with Messier adding an especially thin silver ink signature over the taped section of blade.
