Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Traded to Montreal for Brian Bellows after a number of successful seasons spent with Tampa Bay, we have an alternate captain’s Canadiens jersey that was worn by centerman Marc Bureau during the mid-1990s, in either 1995-96 or 1996-97. A size “56” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with a CCM laundering label attached to the inner seam along with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the back bottom hem. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the solid red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Bureau” across the nameplate in single twill. Just a few dark marks are visible including over the lower front, along with faint board burns over each sleeve. There are also 6 team repairs, with each example over the lower left sleeve.
