Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020

Joining an elite group that currently sits at just 45 members, Luc Robitaille achieved what most players only dream of, scoring over 500 NHL career goals, with his milestone 500th netted during the 1998-99 season, on Jan 7, 1999 vs the Buffalo Sabres. This "500th NHL Goal" award was presented to the superstar by the Los Angeles Kings. At 12” x 15”, the thick dark glass plaque with beveled edges and cardboard backing features a full-colour Kings logo above, with text beneath listing the particulars including “The Los Angeles Kings congratulate Luc Robitaille” and “500th NHL Goal”, with the date and opponent also listed. There is some surface wear, primarily over the beginning text of “Luc Robitaille” and “500th Goal”, with damage to three of the corners, with this rectified and unnoticeable with a quality framing. A signed LOA from Luc Robitaille will accompany this important milestone award.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
