Lot of Luc Robitaille’s early-1990s Los Angeles Kings game-worn equipment features the Hall of Fame left winger’s skates, gloves, helmet and a pair of his game-used Sher-Wood sticks. These items offered from Luc Robitaille’s personal collection include his CCM helmet with its Itech visor attached. Robitaille signed the rest of the items here, including a pair of his Bauer Supreme skates, which display lots of game wear, his Jofa gloves, and both of his gamers with “Robitaille 20” stamped on the shaft. Please see our website description for more detailed information about the items in this lot. Comes with Luc Robitaille’s signed LOA. 1) Robitaille’s mid-1990s Kings black CCM helmet has its chinstrap attached and his number “20” decal on the back. The manufacturer’s sticker under the padding, which displays a couple of dried bloodstains, inside the top of the helmet has a “June 1993” production date; 2) Game-worn Bauer Supreme Custom 2000 skates have lots of red tape residue around the upper edge of the heel and top of the tongue of both boots. Robitaille signed the outside edge of the heel of his white plastic blade attachments in black marker. He wore this style from the late 1980s through the mid-1990s with extensive customized stitching on the panels on both sides of the two skates; 3) Robitaille signed both of his early 1990s game-worn Jofa gloves in black marker on the white padding beside the thumbs. Both palms are hole-free and display nice game wear; 4) Robitaille signed low on the shaft of his Sher-Wood PMP 7000 stick, which retains his tape jobs on the knob and blade. Unsure of the year he used this early 1990s gamer, Robitaille placed a question mark in black marker on the back of the shaft. The tape job on the blade is worn through along most of the bottom edge, from the heel most of the way to the toe and part of the fiberglass layer has worn off there; 5) Robitaille signed the bare blade of his Sher-Wood PMP 7000 gamer, which he dated “1990” low on the back of the shaft. His tape jobs were removed from the knob and the blade, which displays his custom-shaved flat heel.
