Luc enjoyed a career year in 1992-93 while helping lead the L.A. Kings to their only trip to date to the Stanley Cup finals. He scored 63 times to break Steve Shutt’s NHL record for goals by a left wing, a mark since surpassed only by Alex Ovechkin, on his way to a 125-point campaign, a single-season mark for a left wing that still stands! Robitaille had a goal and three assists in the Kings’ season finale, an 8-6 loss to Vancouver at the Great Western Forum on April 15, 1993, to tie and break the record of 123 points set the previous season by Pittsburgh’s Kevin Stevens. Offered here from Luc's personal collection are the Kings goal pucks that gave Robitaille his record-tying 123rd point and his record-breaking 124th point. Please see our website description for more details about these historic pucks, which come with Luc’s signed LOA. Luc's number “20” is written in black marker on the top of the orange circle reverse of each puck with “123 pts” on one, and “124 pts” on the other. Both pucks have the Stanley Cup 100th anniversary logo screened on the front used throughout the league during the 1992-93 season.
