Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005

The familiar number "33" of the game's most effective netminder sits square on the back of this home white Montreal Canadiens sweater. This jersey was worn during the early-1990's by Patrick Roy and the large embroidered CCM on the tail with the NHL shield is evidence that this gamer is from the post-1989 period. Washed out Maska tag in the collar with a size 56 fly tag off to the side. Light wear, not uncommon for a Roy gamer, includes a handful of light marks and scuffs with nice pilling inside and a single bullet-style Habs team repair low on the right cuff. "Roy" runs across the stunted nameplate above the back numbers. A perfect example from the winningest goaltender of all time! *startred* Patrick Roy personally inscribed his kids initionsl in black on the fight strap, the inscriptions are JFJ for his 3 kids, we have only ever seen a couple of Roy jerseys that had those inscriptions wich makes them very rare and sought after. *endred*
