Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2005
This older pair of game-worn Gretzky mitts date back to the mid-Eighties, around the time of the first two Cup wins. Wayne's orange number "99" decal can be found high up on each cuff, protected by a strip of clear tape. The gloves show lighter, but obvious, game use. This style features thick tan leather palms with the black Jofa across the wrist roll and 686 in white. This pair comes directly from the archives of the Edmonton Oilers and includes a letter of authenticity signed by Oilers GM Kevin Lowe.
