Edmonton Oilers Auction 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/16/2005
Beautiful blue mesh Edmonton Oilers uniform worn during the 1984-85 season by checking forward Pat Hughes. Hughes came to Edmonton in 1980-81 and got off to a good start scoring 24 goals in his first full season and adding another 25 markers in 1982-83. This mesh Nike jersey was worn by Pat during the Oilers' 1984-85 Stanley Cup Championship season. Pat's gamer displays the tri-color number "16" on each sleeve and again on the back below the shoulder-to-shoulder mesh nameplate. The white Nike tag is up in the neck, size large with the company's "swoosh" screened onto the lower hem. Great game wear includes numerous black stick marks and eleven stitched team repairs. A well-worn example from a Championship season at the Coliseum. Obtained directly from the Edmonton Oilers and comes with an extensive package of documentation from the Meigray Group including a team letter of authenticity on Oilers letterhead.
