This is the puck from a goal scored by Glenn Anderson and assisted by Wayne Gretzky in the final game of the 1982-83 regular season. This was the team's 426th goal of the year and set a new NHL record for team scoring. The year before, Edmonton had set the record with 417 goals. The official Oilers game puck from this historic goal has been wrapped with a strip of aged cloth tape and marked "Most goals by a team in one season". From the archives of the Edmonton Oilers with a team letter of provenance signed by General Manager Kevin Lowe.
