Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

Defenseman Cam Russell, who was drafted by Chicago in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, spent a decade with the Black Hawks with the offered sweater worn in the 1992-93 playoffs. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “54” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an absolutely gorgeous chain-stitched multi-coloured Indian head team crest, the solid red V-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with matching chain-stitched Tomahawk alternate crests over each shoulder along with the Stanley Cup centennial patch over the right breast. Noticeable game wear includes a half dozen or so game marks on the right sleeve, a few more marks/burns on the left sleeve and what appears to be dried-up blood stains on the lower front hem with a couple of spots also showing on the back bottom hem. A team LOA on Black Hawks letterhead signed by Bob Pulford is included.
