Appearing in over 1,000 NHL contests for the Los Angeles Kings, Luc Robitaille was the highest-scoring left winger in NHL history upon his retirement, and is the Los Angeles franchise record holder for goals scored, with 577. This signed Kings “vintage” alternate captain’s jersey was worn by the superstar in 2003-04, specifically on Dec 2, 2003 vs St Louis and Dec 16, 2003 vs Edmonton. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the gorgeous original Kings’ team crest with embroidered detailing, “20” appears over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the NHL “Vintage” patch over the right breast. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B10301” resides on the inside hem (with handwritten “1” and “2”), and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Gold Vintage Set 1 - Worn 12/2/03 vs. St. Louis, 12/16/03 vs. Edmonton" example.
Sporting just light game use with no unsightly marks, the jersey remains in beautiful condition.
