Capturing the essence of a Stanley Cup Final on cardboard isn’t easy, but In The Game managed to do it with flair when creating its Superlative The First Six Cup Final Quad Memorabilia set for 2013-14. The 32 captivating cards each contain four pieces of game-used memorabilia (jerseys, sticks, gloves, skates) and the set breaks down into 18 cards limited to 19 copies apiece, along with 14 cards that saw just nine copies produced. With their numerous trips to the finals, the Canadiens, Maple Leafs and Red Wings are featured the most often with the Bruins also among the notable combinations; Morenz/Joliat and Shore/Thompson (1930), Richard/Blake and Schmidt/Brimsek (1946), Watson/Barilko and Harvey/Richard (1951) Richard brothers and Howe/Lindsay (1956), Richard/Beliveau and Horton/Baun (1959), Hull/Hall and Ullman/Delvecchio (1961), Keon/Sawchuk and Vachon/Cournoyer (1967), Esposito/Cheevers and Gilbert/Giacomin (1972) and Shutt/Lafleur and Park/O'Reilly (1978). Each outstanding production gets hockey fans/historians recalling memorable finals, with the holder of just about every card still sealed by an ITG sticker.
