Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

Emile “Butch” Bouchard spent 15 memorable seasons in a Habs uniform, winning four Stanley Cups championships during his Hall of Fame career. Bouchard’s number was officially retired by Les Canadiens on Dec 4, 2009, and he has signed this impressive banner in gold-coloured sharpie with his “3” front and center along with the years he was active, 1941-56. At approx. 20 ½” x 48”, the solid red two-sided vinyl banner displays beautifully, with just a single prominent fold line midway up, with a number of additional surface indentations and wrinkles. We should also note that there is moderate fading to the signature. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany, along with a small wooden rod to insert into the top of the banner to facilitate hanging.
