The peak of the counter-culture movement that permeated the US in the late-1960s, the historic Woodstock music festival took place on a 600-acre farm in upstate New York, in the summer of 1969, with the event advertised as 'three days of peace, love and music'. This lot contains a pair of rare complete 3-day full tickets to the memorable event, with these specimens both encapsulated by PSA and graded MINT 9. At 2” x 6” and in gorgeous condition with absolutely no creases or marks, each ticket lists the event’s date on front, with a total listed price of $24.00 which includes 3 individual $8.00 daily tickets. These surviving tickets are perfect for any collection focusing on history, culture or rock and roll.
