Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Spanning several decades and dating back to a crease-free 1952-53 Dickie Moore rookie card (VG) is this varied lot, with most other Parkies low grade. A Gump Worsley RC (P) from '53-54 has a heavy crease and back damage, while a '53-54 contingent features stars Beliveau, Richard, Geoffrion and Harvey, albeit with significant creasing and similarly Poor. Two Plante action cards (98 is F and 99 is better at VG) and #100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Boom (F) round out the 1950s representatives. .....Rookie cards from the '60s, '70s and '80s are highlighted by those of Serge Savard (F), Guy Lapointe (EX+), Larry Robinson (G), Terry O'Reilly (VG), Bob Gainey (P), Grant Fuhr (VG), Scott Stevens (VG), Cam Neely (EX), Chris Chelios (VG-EX) and Pat Lafontaine (EX+). .....The only noteworthy entries from the little batch of modern cards, in our eyes, are a Gordie Howe Parkie (rookie card) reprint graded GEM MT 10 by PSA and a dual swatch card from In The Game's 2005-06 Sidney Crosby Series. It features a piece of a number from a game-used Crosby 2004 Team Canada World Junior jersey and a piece of a number from a game-used Marc-André Fleury 2003 CHL Top Prospects Game jersey. Card #SCM-07 has a stated print run of just 15.
