The most decorated Canadian ice dance team of all time and the most decorated Olympic figure skaters of all time, Tess Virtue and Scott Moir are the 2010 Olympic champions, the 2018 Olympic champions and the 2014 Olympic silver medalists. This jacket was owned by Virtue and originates from “Art on Ice” in 2015. According to the accompanying letter of provenance, this jacket was consigned directly by Kate Virtue along with additional skating outfits to Kid Cents in London, Ontario. The company's president Pamela Batzold then approached Kate Virtue for permission to receive other items to be sold for charity, with $7,750.00 earned at the 18th annual International Women's Day Breakfast and Auction, in March of 2018. In solid black with white sleeves, an “M” size tag is affixed to the collar, with no other labeling. Featuring “Art on Ice” embroidered across the upper reverse in white, the jacket exhibits just light wear, with all of the buttons and clasps intact. A second document will also accompany.
