Selected 8th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins, Derrick Pouliot represented Canada at the World Juniors, with his NHL time split thus far between Pittsburgh and Vancouver. This Penguins alternate jersey was worn by the Estevan native in 2015-16, with Pouliot also seeing a pair of playoff matches during this Stanley Cup championship season. A label with “56” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Pens team crest, “51” appears over the sleeves and verso in oversized numerals, with “Pouliot” across the affixed nameplate in single gold twill. Equipment manager Dana Heinze has signed the fight strap, with a JerseyTRAC chip added just above. The team patch numbered “PH#T15163013” sits on the insisde hem, with a matching COA from the Penguins to accompany, along with a JerseyTRAC document.
Exhibiting light game wear, there are board burns over the lower right sleeve, with the jersey remaining in gorgeous condition. According to the accompanying JerseyTRAC document, the jersey was worn Jan 21, 2016 vs Philadelphia, Feb 10, 2016 vs the Rangers, Feb 27, 2016 vs Winnipeg and March 3, 2016 vs the Rangers.
