Surfacing infrequently and always intriguing are groups of 1936-37 World Wide Gum cards, with rather appealing condition and star power here. Twenty-eight examples are crease-free and mostly in the VG-EX to EX range, with a couple "only" VG+, including #65-Aurele Joliat. Other Hall of Famers are 3-Babe Siebert, 5-Shore (VG-EX), 8-Horner, 10-Lionel Conacher, 36-Clapper, 59-Emms, 66-Voss RC and 69-Weiland, with 12-Tiny Thompson similar, except for a touch of paper loss (front). Nine others are creased commons (mostly F, G). Thick, sturdy cardboard collectibles include lengthy/informative write-ups in English and French on the backs, which exhibit light toning. Please see our website for the rest of the lineup - this is a nice batch.
The attractive group of 28 also includes 6-Paul Thompson, 22-Northcott, 25-Sorrell, 26-Carr RC, 30-Blinco, 34-Larochelle, 33-Haynes, 41-Gallagher, 46-Cain, 49-Young RC, 60-Shields, 63-O'Neil RC, 81-Runge, 85-Robinson, 108-Malenfant RC, 110-Stangle RC, 112-Bourque RC, 113-Murray RC and 124-Wiebe. .....The aforementioned (creased) lesser lights are 35-Cotton, 42-Chapman, 70-Trottier, 79-McManus RC, 86-Kelly, 93-McVeigh, 103-Croghan RC, 127-Cholette RC and 129-Morin RC.
