Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

The first All-Star Game of the 21st century, the 2000 affair was the 50th anniversary of the event, with Team World battling the best from North America at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. This Team World jersey was worn in the second period of the game by Milan Hejduk.
CCM tagging along with a size 56 fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL, CCM and NHLPA crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with an attractive NHL shield crest in black and silver, the NHL 2000 patch sits over the right breast, with the 2000 All-Star Game crest placed just above. Accented with triple-twill numbers, a Colorado Avalanche patch sits over the right shoulder with a Czech Republic flag symbolizing nationality on the left.
Hejduk has signed between the back numbers in fine black marker and the signature displays well despite being lightly pale. We should also note that the fight strap has an NHL inventory code of "AAB212" sewn-on, with this indicating the garment’s previously mentioned status as being the one worn for the 2nd period of the event. A small black mark is noticeable on the lower left sleeve with a few more tiny marks showing on the front of the jersey with no other discernible wear to report on this Hejduk game-worn jersey that obviously saw limited duty. Comes with an NHL letter signed by a Community Relations representative and a MeiGray COR.
