Tied with North Dakota for second in all-time NCAA National Hockey Championships, the Denver University Pioneers program iced their first hockey team in 1949-50, with over 70 past players going on to play in the NHL including Keith Magnuson, Kevin Dineen, Glenn Anderson, Paul Stastny and others. Originally purchased directly from the University of Denver, this Pioneers jersey was worn by Grant Arnold in the mid-2010s, circa 2014-15, with the Colorado native starring for the school from 2012-13 to 2015-16. An SP label is affixed to the collar, with the sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 58. Styled with “Denver” arching across the chest in single layered tackle twill letters, “39” appears over the front, sleeves and verso in matching material, with NCHC and US flag crests just above the upper breasts. There is also a Warrior patch on the reverse hem, with this crest covering an SP patch. Exhibiting light to moderate game use, there are a few washed out marks over the lower front, with board burns and a bit of red paint transfer over the lower right sleeve.
