Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
With his MLB experience consisting of just a single road game played for the Montreal Expos in 1981, pitcher Rick Engle would conclude his career with 2 strikeouts and an ERA of 18.00. A Rawlings label with “40” sizing resides on the inside front right tail, with the original set tag cut away. Featuring a tackle twill team crest with “Expos” placed beneath in individual blue twill letters, “51” appears over the reverse and right breast in matching material, with “Engle” arching over the upper reverse. With no discernible game wear, no signs of being washed, and considering that Engle’s single game was played on the road, this Expos home jersey is being sold as game-issued.
