Gorgeous original gloss and numerous cards looking like they were just pulled from packs are impressive indeed and highlight this enticing offering, with three Bobby Orrs and two unmarked checklists leading the alluring assembly. We spot intermittent touched/lightly dinged corners and off-centered cards, with the vast majority falling into the EX+ to NM-MT range, with MINT (common) cards also observed. The trio of Orr cards are #92 (EX-MT), 118-Calder (NM+) and 128-All-Star (EX-MT), while checklists 66 and 120 are EX+ and NM (OC) respectively. Key rookies are Sanderson (EX-MT+), Vachon (NM) and Lemaire (EX+ (OC)). Howe and Esposito examples are among the few condition exceptions, with more details and images on our website.
Gordie's regular card (#43) is but VG with four corner touches and two minuscule wrinkles, while only two creased cards are 32-Esposito and 132-Ullman, both also VG. To mention is the fact that we did not detect a single card with a vertical wrinkle/crease, a flaw resulting from the production process and occasionally present partially down the middle of cards from this colorful and challenging(!) issue. .....*We stand corrected; upon one last inspection of the star cards, we noticed an aforementioned factory wrinkle in the Beliveau card - to the left of center and at first glance hidden in Jean's right pant/leg region.
