Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Signing a one-year contract with Russian KHL club Metallurg Magnitogorsk in July of 2018, Iiro Pakarinen’s last season was split between Edmonton and the club’s AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. We have an Oilers jersey worn by the rookie Finn in 2014-15 while scoring his single goal of the season. An Elite label and “58” size tag sit along the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the classic Oilers team crest, the air knit V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Pakarinen” across the affixed nameplate in single navy twill. Heavy use is exhibited, with marks and burns present over the sleeves as well as a few small elbow holes and slits, along with some paint transfer near the left cuff. A crest from MeiGray numbered “L02345” sits on the inside hem near the team patch, and according to their population report, the garment is a "White Set 1 - NHL Debut and 1st NHL Goal” example.
