Longtime captain Shane Doan will become the first Coyotes player to have his jersey retired. Doan, who played his first season with the old Winnipeg Jets in 1995-96 and retired after the 2016-17 season with Arizona, holds franchise records for games (1,540), goals (402), assists (570) and points (972). His 2011-12 Phoenix Coyotes game-worn captain’s playoff jersey is photo-matched to a pair of games from the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Doan won the Mark Messier NHL Leadership Award in 2011-12, when the Coyotes came within three wins of reaching the Stanley Cup final. “11-12 Set 3 P.O.” is handwritten in black marker inside the jersey behind the team crest. Comes with a Coyotes LOA.
Size 58 flag tag is in the back of the tie-neck collar and “Official 2011/12 Playoff Set Game Worn Jersey” team patch is sewn inside the rear tail.
