Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018

With 14 Division Championships and 6 regular season titles, the Rochester Americans - one of the most successful AHL clubs - have also won 6 Calder Cups. We have a pair of Americans jerseys from the late-1990s, with a signed example worn by netminder Martin Biron (with the Amerks from 1997-2001) along with a jersey issued to Dmitri Kalinin (with the Amerks from 1998-2000, 2002-03). Both home and away examples manufactured by Bauer, the Biron jersey has “58” goalie sizing along the collar, while the Kalinin jersey is a size “56”. Both jerseys feature attractive team crests with embroidered detailing, with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with affixed stars over each shoulder, with the Biron sporting a Federal Credit Union patch over the right breast. While the Kalinin jersey was only issued and never worn, it remains in perfect condition, while the Biron jersey exhibits a stick mark near the team crest, along with red goal post paint transfer over left sleeve. There is also some minor pilling in spots, including over the left cuff. Martin has signed between the reverse numbers in black marker, and the signature displays well.
