Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
An inaugural inductee of the World Hockey Association Hall of Fame in 2010, Terry Ruskowski is one of the only players in history to captain four different pro hockey clubs. Originating from his final NHL season and second in Minnesota where he appeared in just 3 games, we have a signed North Stars jersey worn by the Prince Albert native in 1988-89. Maska Air-Knit tagging appears affixed to the collar along with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse bottom hem, with the jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 52. Featuring an attractive and layered drop-shadow Stars team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the mesh V-neck has been accented with matching drop-shadow sleeve and verso numbers, with identical reduced-size team crests over each shoulder.
Game wear includes four team repairs on the green stripe on the right sleeve, and one on the white stripe blow it, a small black thread sewing fix near the left cuff, a few faint but long diagonal black marks on the front tail, a bit of blue paint transfer on the left front hem, a few reddish-brown spot stains on the left rear tail, and board burns and marks on the sleeves. Ruskowski has signed within the reverse number in black marker, with the signature blending into the background material somewhat.
