Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Taking place from Dec. 7-23 in 2004 and consisting of 10 games, the World Stars Tour featured a number of NHL stars, with stops made in Riga, Latvia; Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia; Bratislava, Slovakia; Bern, Switzerland; Karlstad, Jonkoping and Linkoping, Sweden; Oslo, Norway, and Katowice, Poland. We have a World Stars team-signed jersey along with a team-signed hockey stick. The jersey features CCM labeling with size “56” tagging, with a wonderful “World Stars” team crest. 15 have signed in silver. The stick is a Jofa ASD model, with 13 signatures present, with most signing in black marker. Signers on both items include Luc Robitaille, Martin Brodeur, Stephane Quintal, Rhett Warrener, Sean O'Donnell, Barrett Jackman, Rob Blake (stick only), Tie Domi (jersey only), Alexandre Daigle (jersey only) and others. The majority of the signatures on the jersey display well, with a few that appear lighter, having blended into the background material more. The stick is in new condition with light handling wear, with no issues for the signatures.
