Hall of Fame center Eric Lindros was a phenomenal junior prospect dubbed “The Next One” in the vein of Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. This goal puck is from Lindros’ 37th tally of the 1990-91 OHL season for the Oshawa Generals, the campaign the led to him being chosen No. 1 overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1991 NHL Draft. Lindros scored 71 goals, including an OHL-record 16 game winners, and had 149 points in 57 games. Details of Lindros’ 37th goal of the season including the date of the game, Jan. 11, 1991, are handwritten on a piece of white hockey tape on the edge of the London Knights OHL InGlasCo official game puck, which has a chip and a few nicks to the top edge.
