Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
From his single season in New York where he appeared in 42 games, we have a New York Islanders jersey that was worn by centerman Wyatt Smith during the 2005-06 NHL season. Size “54” labeling is affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the familiar Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, the navy V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate patch over the right shoulder. Faint burns are visible over each sleeve along with a small resulting hole over the left elbow. There are also 3 team repairs over the lower left sleeve, with some heavy fraying to the cuff. A MeiGray patch numbered “C06635” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the garment is a "Navy Set 1" example.
