Nice haul of Dominic Roussel’s signed NHL game-worn goalie gloves features two of his late-1990s Anaheim Mighty Ducks Brian’s blockers and his 2000-01 Edmonton Oilers Koho blocker and trapper. Roussel was drafted by Philadelphia in 1988 and went 62-49-14 in 139 games with the Flyers from 1991-96. He also played briefly for the old Winnipeg Jets before his stints with Anaheim and Edmonton, finishing his NHL career with seven shutouts and a 77-70-23 record in 205 games. Roussel signed in black marker on each of the four game-used gloves. His Anaheim Brian’s trapper gloves are predominantly white with accents in two different color schemes, one in the familiar Mighty Ducks jade, purple and silver, the other in dark blue and golden yellow, and both gloves exhibit good game use. There are a few reddish-brown stains on the left side of the upper padding of the blue and yellow trapper glove. “Dominic Roussel” is embroidered on the back of the cuff of both trapper gloves at the bottom of the Brian’s Made in Canada logo. Roussel 2000-01 blocker and trapper gloves each have Koho by Lefevre tagging and both displays solid game use that includes black marks on the padding and pocket. The leather palm of the blocker glove has worn away almost completely with only remnants on the thumb and outer edges and little finger remaining. Roussel signed the blocker on the white padding on the bottom edge, on the outside edge of the white padding on the Oilers trapper, and the Mighty Ducks trapper gloves on the cuff.
