Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Remembered for his especially physical style of play, Eric Godard spent parts of 8 seasons in the NHL, winning a Stanley Cup with Pittsburgh in 2009. We have a New York Islanders jersey that was worn by the Vernon native during the 2002-03 NHL regular season and Stanley Cup playoffs in his rookie season. Size “58” labeling graces the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the back neckline and reverse bottom hem respectively. Styled with the famous Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, the navy “Set 2” V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate patch over the right shoulder. A couple faint marks are visible over the lower front band, with a few additional random marks present, with the jersey remaining in wonderful condition. The team patch sits over the inside hem along with a MeiGray patch numbered “A02474”, with an LOA to accompany.
