Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Here’s your opportunity to own one of the most unique and controversial NHL items ever utilized, with a highly desirable and seldom-seen mid-1990s Official FoxTrax game-used puck. Embedded with electronics and sensors, this Official Bettman-endorsed Inglasco 960 model with the National Hockey League logo appearing in the center of both sides would show a blue halo during TV broadcasts that would change to a red “comet tail” when shot by a player. Four sensors can be viewed on each side, with another 12 devices mounted around the outer edge of the puck. Noticeable wear is present, with some scuffing to the screened graphics on one side along with “30.00” handwritten in ballpoint.
