A rare 1940s CCM puck with its original box is a fabulous find among the two vintage CCM hockey pucks featured in this lot of five hockey pucks that each come with their original boxes. Manufactured during the 1942 to 1946 time frame, the puck is wonderfully preserved with what appears to be a small manufacturing flaw on the bottom edge considering the puck’s overall very clean condition. A circa-1950s/1960s CCM puck that comes with its blue box is well-preserved with “CCM Made in Canada” and “Official” stamped on the edge. Also included are a circa-1950s Seamless Rubber Co. puck, a circa-1960s Made in U.S.A. puck, and a 1960s Monarch puck, each of which come with their respective original boxes.
The circa-1940s CCM puck features the octagonal CCM logo on one of its classic smooth sides with sharp edges. Its sturdy orange-colored box lid has a bit of staining on the upper right edge and is otherwise nicely preserved with a faint pencil notation on the upper left.
The circa-1950s/1960s CCM puck has small marks on the sides. Its box displays wear and remains virtually complete with a detached tab inside the top flap and a handwritten marker notation on the left portion of the front cover.
The circa-1950s Seamless Rubber Co. puck with “Official” stamped on the edge has smooth sides and sharp edges. Its sturdy box is nicely preserved with a few small tears on the upper edges that do not diminish its display.
The circa-1960s Made in U.S.A. puck with “Superior Professional Hockey Puck” diamond-shaped logo crest on one side is in clean condition with smooth sides. Its box is complete though one of the flaps is mostly detached.
The 1960s Monarch puck has smooth sides. There is chipped portion on one of the edges that is possibly a manufacturing flaw considering the overall clean quality of the puck. Comes with its sturdy box, that has some stains and a couple of “39” stamps on one side.
