Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
A constant threat to opposing netminders throughout his three seasons in the OHA, Marcel Dionne would reach the 100-point plateau on each occasion, topping-off at 143 points his final season with St Catharines in 1970-71. Originating from Marcel Dionne’s personal collection, we have a wooden plaque that features the pucks of the 10 major junior teams that made up the OHA in the late-1960's. Highlights include seldom seen pucks of the St. Catharines Black Hawks, Hamilton Red Wings, Peterborough Petes and Niagara Falls Flyers. Other beauties are the Toronto Marlboros, London Knights, Kitchener Rangers, Oshawa Generals, Ottawa 67's and Montreal Junior Canadiens. The pucks are a mixture of Viceroy, CCM and Czech affairs and have been solidly glued onto the 18" x 10" wooden board. A signed LOA from Marcel Dionne will accompany.
The pucks and plaque both exhibit light wear. We should also note that the LOA contains items from the original sale that are not included with this lot.
